Blur’s classic 1995 albumThe Great Escapeturns 30 this year and to celebrate this landmark occasion Parlophone is releasing a special 2LP edition of the album on coloured vinyl (each disc a different colour) housed in all-new artwork.

Originally released in September 1995, the album was the follow-up to Blur’s global breakthrough album Parklife. It charted at number one, selling over 120,000 copies in its first week and going on to achieve Triple Platinum status in the UK (900k sales to date). Featuring the hit singles, Country House (no. 1), The Universal (no. 5), Stereotypes (no. 7) and Charmless Man (no. 5), which between them have delivered the following numbers to date: 1.8m UK sales/ 60m global YouTube views (official videos) / 335m+ global streams.
