This time, she reimagines Prudence Liew’s ‘ Afterwards’, following the massive success of herPlastic Love cover, which saw 1,000 copies sold out at the distributor for its first release, leaving justa few left onlineon the Sound Metaphors site, and a hefty backorder from Japan. The release opens with a signature Xiaolin Vocal Mix that spotlights her effortlessly smooth vocals with Eric Lau on mixing duties, followed by an instrumental Heartbreak Dub version complete with sultry synths and a scintillating percussion line.Tornado Wallaces remix brings on the breezy Balearic vibes for his rendition of the track, while Androos reinterpretation leans more on the melodically emotive side with its soft piano that ebbs and flows throughout.
