The late great Manuel Gttsching’s cosmic Balearic classic lent new sparkle and polish by Alex Kassian, backed with Mad Professors brilliant, dubbed-out disco remix. This was previously interpreted and reworkedbyItalo housegroup Sueo Latino with their ambient house classic of the same name.

Here Berlin DJ and producer Alex Kassian – co-founder of the Planet Sundae label and half of Opal Sunn with Hiroaki OBA nips and tucks Gttschings legendary, durational work E2-E4 to a 12 minute time frame, limbering up gently to a rolling disco chase after a few minutes, holding it up to the sun for another 9 minutes of blissed out wiggle.

The one to check for is Mad Professors Quantas Crazy remix: a bit of a dream come true for some, where the original elements – as previously recycled by Carl Craig among many others – are swept up in conga rolls and keys, with grease in the bass to enhance buoyancy and make one ‘dance better’. This is already a summer 24 anthem, set to score floors for eons to come. (via Label)
