Sun After Dark blends modern elements, dark tones, Black Metal and powerful moods to tell stories of lifes experiences!Sun After Dark is a project by Benjamin Knig from Germany.

Benjamin Knig was a founding member of the Black Metal band Lunar Aurora (1994-2012).There he was mainly responsible for the composition of 9 albums and various compilations.

With Sun After Dark he has now created his own debut album entitled Tatkraft (German word for drive/energy/moxie).Life consists of stories, experiences and episodes. Mastering it often requires Tatkraft.

The lyrics are in English, German and Bavarian dialect.

Produced by Victor Bullok (Triptykon) in the Woodshed Studio, autumn 2024.
As part of their collaboration, Thomas Helm and Benjamin Knig decided to continue this project together in the future.

Sun After Dark is purely a studio project and is not planning any concerts. Those involved in this project have their own well-known bands and can also be seen on stage there.
