Omar is a UK soul artist of Chinese, African and Indo-Jamaican descent. Born Omar Lye-Fook (1969) in Canterbury England, Omar has been making albums since the early 1990s and his work is often compared to Stevie Wonder’s work of the 1970s. This Is Not A Love Song is his fourth studio album and was originally released in 1997. It features a cover version of The Stranglers’ “Golden Brown” and the single “Say Nothin'”, which is a collaboration with Wu-Tang Clan’s Ol’ Dirty Bastard. Both songs reached the UK Singles Chart. This Is Not A Love Song is available as a limited edition of 750 individually numbered copies on gold and black marbled vinyl and includes an insert with lyrics.
