If you were to stumble across a sun-dappled cove just off the Mediterranean, you might catch the distant sound of Yuuf drifting through the trees; handpan rhythms bouncing off limestone cliffs, basslines snaking like vines and dusty guitars catching the sea breeze.
Formed of four international musicians who met at BIMM in Brighton but are now based in London, Yuuf conjure a sound they call Global Psychedelia, a balmy blend influenced by West and Central African groove, Thai psych, Mexican Cumbia, ambient Americana and dreamlike textures that nod to Ghibli soundtracks and the classical guitar tradition of Spain.
